My clients wanted a very contemporary modern interior with the strong contrasts between white, greys & black.

Inspired by the hard architectural materials

like glass, concrete, steel and natural materials like rock stone, marbles, etc, we had the challenge to bring cosiness into the final design, without loosing the very clean, modern look.

Next to the importance of fine-tuned

lighting, I focused myself to create a refined balance in the material colour temperatures. Therefor I used the light absorbing black parts only in small elements (as eye catchers) next to larger white parts who reflect all light, and softened both extremes by natural French Oak accents, in the middle, to balance it all out very smoothly. Using this natural wood loo, combined with warm soft fabrics & leather surfaces, it adds some timeless style and warmth into the general design and still keep it open to add new design elements later on, with the exact same look, to complete it all tailor-made.

Every design starts by the wishes of each client. A good communication is important to understand her/his thoughts and shape her/his dreams.

It is my goal to see and hear what the client stands for, even if she/he does not exactly know how to describe it. It is a multi directional quest that can go from futuristic modern design to timeless classics. All styles have certain recognisable details that must be respected to capture the right look and feel.

It is my mission to guide my client, help her/him making the right decisions about masterplanning, choice of materials, shape, texture & colour, budget use, etc.

Together we will succeed to create the perfect design that can capture her/his/their personality.
